NIMS Renews National Accreditation of Waterbury, CT Metalworking Program
Maintaining national industry standards inside the classroom is no easy task but the team at Manufacturing Alliance Service Corporation (MASC) once again rose to the challenge and officially renewed the national accreditation of the metalworking training program as of January 21, 2016.
NIMS accreditation is the only national benchmark to recognize excellence in metalworking training as based on national industry-written, industry-approved standards. By securing this national award, MASC demonstrates its continued commitment to providing industry-level training within the state of Connecticut and for the greater U.S. Manufacturing Industry.
The MASC training program offers manual and CNC machining training and provides students with the opportunity to earn NIMS certifications. Leading by example, Instructors Nelson Auger, Mario Dias, and Joseph Mazzamauro collectively hold twenty NIMS credentials from the skills groups of Machining Level I, Machining Level II and Screw Machining Level II.
Reestablishing this industry award secures national accreditation for the next five years.
