Accreditation Renewed at Jefferson Co. - DuBois Area Vo-Tech School
Keeping up with today’s industry skills standards, the Jefferson County - DuBois Area Vocational Technical School (Reynoldsville, PA) has renewed the NIMS Accreditation of its Precision Machining Program as of Monday, September 24, 2012. This is the program’s third time establishing itself as a NIMS-Accredited program, as it set this benchmark first in 2001. NIMS applauds Jeff Tech for demonstrating its commitment to meeting NIMS National Industry Standards within its metalworking training.
Earlier this year NIMS Evaluator Gary Deeter conducted a rigorous On-Site Evaluation at Jeff Tech's machine shop and was highly complementary of the program. His evaluation noted that "this school has all the necessary components and meets NIMS standards."
Congratulations to everyone involved in this accreditation renewal, especially Instructor Richard Hoare for all his effort! Special thanks also to Gary Deeter for conducting the on-site visit!
